Welcome to Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey!

Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey’s (GSHNJ) mission is to build girls of courage, confidence and character, who make the world a better place. GSHNJ provides leadership development for girls at all age levels through programs that include; science, technology, financial literacy, health, the arts, and outdoor and environmental awareness. We currently serve over 25,000 girls, ages 5-17 and 11,000 adult volunteers in the counties of Hudson, Essex, Union, Somerset, Hunterdon, southern Warren and parts of Middlesex. We have Service Centers in Montclair, North Branch and Westfield and three camp properties: Camp Hoover in Middleville, NJ, Camp DeWitt in Hillsborough, NJ and The OVAL in Maplewood, NJ.
