What is the reason Girl Scouts has retired products?

To pave the way for the launch of our exciting  leadership development program for girls, Girl Scouts of the USA announced the retirement of most of the older resources, badges, and awards starting about 18 months ago.  The older product is officially retired as of June  30, 2012.

You may want to check with your local council regarding the transition plans for program and availability at your local council of older resources and badges.  

The Official Girl Scout Online Store no longer will have product for sale past June 30, 2012. For  stock availability it is best to first contact your local council.
