Girl Scout Membership Star

My troop is on their third year and I have not experienced any issues with the pins. just have to make sure that you take your time and press in on the tabs to remove the back gently.

I cannot believe the GS would have pins that are of such terrible quality. In my troop of 10 kids, at least half have lost one or more stars from their sashes/vests, and we don't even wear the uniforms that often because we often do outdoor adventures. It feels like such a waste of money to buy these every year for the kids.

I've bought a bunch of these (and been given a bunch) for my girls. They have a total of 10 years in GS combined currently and we've had almost 20 stars over the years so not great odds when they break. So recently I've been taken to (before putting them on the vest) hot gluing the star (still attached to the post) to the plastic disc. I glue the hole and disc and then stick the star and post through the hole while the glue is still hot, and then stick through the vest (or sash). They have stayed so far. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

SOOOOOO CHEAP they fall apart. I don't know what is going on with the metal products but most of them have bent/broken in a short period of time

Way too expensive for the posts to break easily. Poor quality item.

Very cheaply made and break often. Make sure you buy extra.
