Girl Scout Membership Star

These fall apart, bend easily, and do not last the the girl scout uniforms.

Backs fall off, stars break off. Overall poor workmanship

Girls live receiving their membership star each year. They do break so buy a few extras to have on hand.

We replace the backs because the ones that come often fall off and then girls loose the pin. Also we had a few that the star snapped off and we had to glue back together.

We bought new stars for our bridging ceremony and half of them broke off the pin part just from pulling the backs off to pin the girls. Extremely embarrassing that we had multiple stars break WHILE pinning the girls in front of their families during the ceremony and a few broke as the parents moved the past pins to the new vests. So much hard earned troop money wasted, we may just stop doing stars all together for the upcoming years.

Came in a timely manner for start of new Girl Scout Year

I have had challenges with these stars for a few years. The backs break off immediately. I have been too lazy to return them, and continue to buy them and throw them away. Someone needs to QC them and make adjustments.

Ordered a few of these and the prong on the back was bent on two and broken on one. I think these need to be made a bit stronger.

The star broke off the post at some point during the first year wearing it. Couldn't try supergluing it because I don't know when or where it got lost - but I doubt that would have worked due to the design.
