Vol. 7: We Are Family, celebrates International Sisterhood around the world! Appropriate for Girl Scout Brownies and up, it was originally released 2005 at a Singing and Recording Destinations, We Are Family in in conjunction with Girl Scouts of Northern California. Recorded at Camp Bothin by 45 girls from 8 different countries, the songs languages honor our International Family of Girl Scouts and Girl Guides, in Swedish, Polish, Estonian, Sri Lankan, Swahili, Maorian, and Spanish. High energy, Girl Power and Sister bonding are the themes for Girl Scout Juniors and up.

From Melinda Caroll…” Most of the vocals you hear were sung by the 45 girls at the Girl Scouts of the San Francisco Bay Area, We Are Family Destinations 2005. Together for 8 days at Camp Bothin, we camped, sang, laughed, danced, sang, ate, played, bonded, shared our hearts and tears and then sang some more! It was an honor for David Kauahikaua, my co-producer and I to be in the presence of such bodacious talent and drive and to witness this most promising generation of future stars! Joyous, enthusiastic and brimming with vocal ability this music is a gift from their heart to yours! Enjoy!”

I couldn’t download the songs. After over 10 email

by -

I couldn’t download the songs. After over 10 emails and 2 phone calls, still unresolved. The website is so unfriendly. When you select a cd, you have to click several times to even see what songs are on it. Then put them in wishlist. Then you can’t see what songs are on wishlist, but what album they came from. It’s a shame, I really wanted the songs to put on a video to share with my old troop who are now 30 years old, which might have inspired them to be leaders and get their daughters involved. I give up.
