Official Brownie Sash

The sash is well made and the patches attached look great! I wish I had bought the long size even though my daughter isn't particularly tall, just because I think we're only going to get a handful of patches of this one before we run out of room!

It's the perfect size! I love how small and portable it is.

We consistently have issues in our troop with the vest being too small to fit everything on the front is a girl even does 60% of the program. The journeys take up a LOT of room leaving little room left for the other badges on the front. Recommend removing the troop crest because it takes up critical room for program badges. Even widening the sash another badge width and making the vest 2 badge lengths longer would go a LONG way. I've seen troops have to resort to sewing 2 sashes together and buying a second vest and cutting it in half to extend the vest. Please off an EXTRA WIDE sash and and EXTRA LONG vest for the troops that are really active and complete more than 60% of the program and the traditional sash and vest for the troops that are less active/do not have fund so that the girl's vest/sash looks fuller with less space.
<br>LEADERS: Please ask yourself how active you intend to be before recommended the sash. It does NOT hold a lot. With the required council etc patch and a few journeys and pins, you've already covered the front with little space for real badges. Steer your girls toward the vest. The sash falls off during cookie season and the extra tab going into her shirt leaves holes in her shirt unless thick. The weight of the tab tears thin shirts. REGULAR is good for TINY girls who wear size 5 and below in the brownie program. Girls who are size 6 and above will wear the EXTRA LONG.
