Official Junior Vest

Wish that the vest sizes didn't run so small. If I didn't know that they run small, I would have ordered something closer to the size that my daughter wears in real life. She normally wears a 10 or 12. I had to order her a size 20 vest. I can see where parents frequently do not get the size right.

I was afraid to buy, because of the bad reviews, but I took my daughter's measurements and that helped me, although it was going to be a little big for her, I bought Plus XL, it's a little big for her, but that's how they are, they won't fit tight, so I'm Happy with the purchase, my daughter wears a size 12 on shirt, she is 9 years old, I hope my comment helps someone.

Good quality material. Sizes run small not true to sizes of girls.

The description of this item really does not tell you what you get and the pictures make it seem like everything is included. I ordered what our leaders referred to as a "vest kit" and thought it would come with all of the needed items, except our troop crest. I paid an extra fee to have the flag, counsel information, and troop numbers added to my daughter's vest, which is a great option. It just arrived and there is no insignia pack with the pins that go on the left side of the vest, as shown in all of the pictures on the website. Had I known this was not included, I would have added it to my order. Now, I'm going to have to place another order and pay your ridiculous shipping charges a second time since our local counsel shut down their store. It is really frustrating to try to figure out what my daughter needs when there is no guidance on the website.

The material is hard to use, sew and heatpress on. It falls apart too.

I feel these prices for required vest and patches are excessive for a working class family

This vest is acceptable, but the sizing is way off and the patches don't stick. Fabric is thin. Would have liked better quality for the $$

We have invested a lot of money in buying uniforms every time GSUSA decides to change them!! We are conscious of the environment and how we can help. The new vest are pretty bad! The fabric is flimsy, almost impossible to sew badges on because the vest turns colors and runs so small that sizing an entire troop of 1st year Juniors has become a nightmare!! PLEASE make our original vest available for purchase or tell us where we can purchase the material and we will make our own!!!
