Official Adult Navy Vest

I wish the website was clearer about how small these items run. I'm normally an L or XL and I was a 3X in this vest.

This is a nice vest that seems true to size. I usually wear a medium and the medium vest fits good. I like that it has pockets and is light weight, so that I can layer with it. It also seems to be holding up well with repeated use.

What a great way to show your Girl Scout pride! Every adult volunteer should wear a uniform! This is an effortless way to show girls you, as an adult believe in Girl Scouting.

This vest is just ok. For the price I feel like I could have gotten a more functional vest at an outdoor shop. The zipper is big and heavy duty for the more delicate synthetic fabric. I bought it to put my service unit achievements on and fun patches I do with my daughter, but I'm afraid the iron will scorch it even with a layer between.

Runs extremely small. I am usually a 2x (18/20) in shirts, ordered a 3x just in case - should have gone 4x. The material is also not conducive to iron on patches sticking for any length of time. I really wish Girl Scout clothing was more size inclusive - there are many plus size girls and leaders!

Size fit perfectly. After seeing the quality and fit of mine, both of my co-leaders ordered one for them too.

Usually I'm a small, bust only fit into the medium. Pockets have nice placket. Zipper was sturdily seen with brass hardware. I've had no trouble zipping up or dow at the office or at home with either vest I've worn. Add a drop of fruit oil to lubricate your zippers if that's a problem. A girl scout uses resources wisely. The weight and thickness is good enough to wear with a tank in 90 degree summers and armholes leave space for cozy layers in 20s for cookie season. Really wish the vest was made with canvas cotton instead of Chinese Nylon. Otherwise good product, moderate price.

For $30 a vest I'd expect it to zip and unzip correctly. These are impossible to unzip. Both vests I got will not without extreme force. I can't return them because I already put the patches on the front. Feel like we wasted $60 on these. I do not recommend buying them.
