Official Adult Navy Vest

While I do not have any issue with the quality, the zipper came as stuck to the fabric and I had to go a tailor to fix it! otherwise it would have been broken! Sort of did not expect it to be like it.

Do not go by the sizes they show..go at minimum 1 size larger or 2 sizes larger if you want extra room. Zipper gets stuck now and then, but could be better sized and made.

One recommendation to everyone when you are ready to put on patches. First use a lent roller to remove all lent. 2nd heat of the area on the vest that you are going to place the patches. Last iron on patches.

It does run small and doesn’t have any give because of the material. Otherwise it’s nice quality and well made!

Reviews said it ran small and to size up. In my opinion it's true to size.

Vest not true to size. Ordered two sizes bigger than I usually wear, it still didn’t fit. There needs to be an adjustment to adult sizing.

I read the reviews before buying. I sized up. I personally did not need to size up. It is very large on me. I am a M-L and purchased an XL. I washed it and dried in the dryer hoping it would shrink a bit. It did not. It is long in the torso area and being 5’2” it comes way past my hips.

I went to our local council shop so I could try on this vest and get the correct size. I agree with so many other reviews that the size chart is misleading! I'd say that size medium would fit size 8-10. I am currently a size 10 myself, and a medium fits nicely, but I would not be able to wear the vest over a thick layer and still zip it. These vests are cut slim like Patagonia, not comfy like LL Bean, if that helps! Otherwise the quality seems good. We are planning a fair number of events involving visitors or field trips, and I think it will be helpful to have the official vest, as a co-leader.

I love wearing the vest alongside my scouts in theirs! It is also practical when I show up at the school for our troop meetings in that it helps school staff recognize me quickly.

Fits nicely definitely size up. You don’t want a tight fit. It’ll serve me well.

Sizing is awful. I’m a 18/20 and you have to buy AT LEAST 2 sizes up to be able to zip. The fabric is not the greatest

I researched before purchasing. It runs about 2-3 sizes small and the zipper is sticky. But otherwise it’s awesome and I love it!

I love this! I’m usually a medium and ordered a large. It’s big and roomy, but still fits well. I orobcould have got the medium, but love the large too ( i can out it on over sweatshirts). The fabric is also great.

Good quality and I like the fit. I did size-up one size so I could wear it over heavier shirts and light jackets (my normal size would have been very snug I think). Otherwise it’s a good cut and I like it!
