Official Adult Navy Vest

As so many other reviews say, this is drastically undersized, badly cut for anyone with any shape, and of dubious material quality. The lack of availability in a full range of sizes makes this problem even worse.
<br>To echo even more reviews, where are the men's sizes and cut? The organization needs to do better.

I hate I had to order one so big. There is no allowance for curves

Had to buy 2 sizes larger because these are made for a Barbie model. Not impressed with it having a zipper or the collar. Gift for our coleader so she could have a vest too but not really happy with it

It is absolutely true this runs 2 sizes too small. I wear an xl which isn't even offered and had to order a 3x to be able to zip this. When you iron this, the outline of the pockets and seam allowance create distinct discolorations on the surface. If I didn't think uniforms were an important part of the traditions of Girl Scouts, I wouldn't even purchase this. Do better, GSUSA.

I bought this vest and hoped to wear it every so often - I love it and wear it to meetings for the troop and SU -love the pockets and it is light weight so can be worn in cool or warm weather! Also, like looking professional.

These apparently run very small. I ordered 2 sizes above what I needed and it was still tight on me. The zipper also seems to be poorly made.

I like the lightweight material this is made out of. Very nice and patches adhere nicely.

I was a little worried after reading some of the reviews, but was pleasantly surprised once I received my vest. It fits true to size, but doesn't have any stretch to it (if that's a concern of yours). I'm a medium (size 6/8) and that is what I ordered. It fits me perfectly...and has pockets! I'm very happy with my purchase and will rock my vest with pride!

It is a nice fit for most of the reviews complaint about the size but I’m not crazy about the material I wish it could be a little more durable because once all my patches were on it was hard to fix the places that ripped easily.

Sizes run small so order larger especially if you plan to wear over heavy clothing. Very stylish but I don't like the fabric choice as it wrinkles if washed and you can,t steam out the wrinkles

Vest is light weight and fits like a size small. Zipper is not friendly and it is hard to zip

The material is different than pictured. It's more a canvas than knit. However, it is well made. The fit is snug, which the site did mention, but it seems a 2 size up recommendation might be warranted. Adding the preapplication of patches was a good idea.

I bought this for the beginning of this Girl Scout year. I normally wear an xs, this does run a little big for us petite ladies. I like that I can put it on and people know I am a leader and not one of the scouts. (I am a really small person.) This is great for council events. I wear it un-zipped so it does not look so big. Love the pockets! I do like that I can wear my own clothes with it and look official. All the leader clothing is too big for me. Over all I would recommend this.
