Girl Scout Membership Star

These have become really cheaply made. The past three times I have ordered them, at least one comes broken in the package and others break easily upon use. It's unfortunate that such a pivotal part of the uniform has to be so chintzy.

These membership stars are so cheaply made. The "spike" on the back breaks off very easily, so if they are bent, DO NOT try to straighten them as they will just snap off. The clasp is terrible too. It's shameful that GSA puts out such cheaply made products.

Very poor quality. They either come broken, break while you put them on, or on the rare occasion go on fine. We have only 8 girls in my troop and I have to keep replacing them. The price needs to reflect the quality like 10 for $2.

These are cheap pieces of junk!!! My daughter hasn’t even worn her new vest yet and the star pin broke apart. We have had multiple attempts at glueing it back together and it is so cheap and so poorly designed that it can’t be re-glued. Do better Girl Scouts!!!

As same with all the other reviews, the posts break off easily. Either charge a quarter a piece so they are worth replacing, or get a better product. This has been compllained about for YEARS. Ridiculous to waste the girls hard earned money on junk. Shame on you GSUSA

Pins -- any kind -- NEED to be packed and sent in padded envelopes. There's usually one or two that are damaged by the postage meter, etc.

Very poor quality. Why is there a cost associated with a membership star when the scouts need to pay for a membership? The star should be included in the dues. Why are stars not sold in a bundle instead of individual - the cost is too high.

These are constantly breaking and falling off. They are a total waste of money and I am getting so tired of having to rebuy these.

The stars break constantly. The stem part breaks away from the star so they can't be repaired or used.

The pin broke after 1 year. Disappointed the metal is so weak and flimsy.

This membership is a must have for your Brownie's sash.

Great looking pin, thick, seems like it will last a while. Only reason for the 3 star is because the pin back itself isn’t great. It falls off often
