Earn an exclusive, glow-in-the-dark patch after your first outdoor overnight stay in a non-permanent structure. You can earn add-on patches for 5, 10, 15, and 20 nights outdoors in a tent. They don’t have to be consecutive nights—they can be accumulated throughout your time in Girl Scouts! For an extra challenge, you can earn the winter camping add-on patch by sleeping outdoors between November to March, or the under the stars add-on by sleeping in a hammock or on the ground.
