My troop had a great time learning about the LGBTQ

My troop had a great time learning about the LGBTQ+ community and earning this patch. We also attended a local Pride event in town. Earning these heritage patches has been a blast. We plan to repeat them every two years to keep our Girl Scouts following the Girl Scout law.

I am glad they are including all groups of people with the patches. This patch is for everyone: allies and lgbtq+. The Girl Scout way is to accept ALL people.

Thank you for including awareness and increasing respect for all individuals. My girl will definitely earn this patch. She believes in the Girl Scout Law and wants to be a sister to every Girl Scout.
