NORTHWESTERN GREAT LAKES COUNCIL

About Us

Girl Scouts of the Northwestern Great Lakes (GSNWGL) formed in 2008, the result of a nationwide organizational realignment. Formerly six separate Councils now comprise GSNWGL, which partners with 5,000 volunteers, serves approximately 16,000 girls, and covers 58 counties across northern Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

Council Vision
We are a viable, visible, girl-centered organization responsive and appealing to our members, volunteers, and staff. We engage quality individuals to help us deliver relevant programs that offer a lasting, positive impact.

Store Locations & Hours

We are in a rapidly changing and delicate time and the COVID19 virus and the scientific recommendations of health organizations will continue to guide our behaviors and decisions. We ask that you remain patient, as we make decisions with everyone’s health and safety in mind as we move forward.
At this time, all Girl Scouts of the Northwestern Great Lakes facilities remain closed to the public, including service centers, shops, business offices and camp properties. We are here to serve you and help with any orders you may need, so please let us know what we can do for you. Our retail team are working in the shops and available to contact during regular business hours. Current retail hours are Monday-Thursday 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM and Fridays 9:00 AM – Noon. All shops are currently available for curbside pick-up orders - by appointment during regular business hours.

Our online Trading Post is the perfect place to spend Fall Bucks and Cookie Dough on things close to a camper's heart. You'll see a lot of your old favorites here along with new items and even some super fun mystery boxes! The Trading Post closes after Friday, August 7th, so don’t delay!

As always, we’re extremely grateful for the opportunity to serve you and for your support of Girl Scouting.
