It is not adjustable. The only way it’s adjustable is by a wimpy string of ribbon. It is NOT stretchy and will not go over the ears.

My daughter likes wearing this but she likes the little beanie that the Brownies uniform has better than the beret. We tried to get the closest thing to her brownie beanie when she bridged up. It doesn't stay on her head very well.
