Great material very stretchy but also very large. I would say it is actually close to real size if not larger. Stick to your normal size and you will have more than enough room for during winter.

my sister was in Girl Scouts and later became a troop leader, She is now in a nursing home with dementia and is 72 years old. I bought these things for her so her daughter could take them to her and cheer her up to happier days she had had. She was tickled pink with her scout items.....

I love how comfortable this vest is!! It has big pockets that came in handy for our first Cookie Booth season!! The size was a little bigger than expected but thankfully, because of the winter season sticking around, allowed for me to have my winter coat on under it. Overall I give it an A rating!!

I like the vest but wish it would come in petite sizes as I now need to get alterations done to make it fit my shorter torso.

I ordered down a size because I am about to have surgery with expected weight loss, and was surprised to find out how roomy the vest is. I'm normally a 2x (or even 3x if I want it loose) in unisex or men's clothing, and this vest fits comfortably. The only downside to the fit is that it is that the arm holes are a little big right in front of my underarms. This probably won't be a problem if I wear it over a sweatshirt, but wearing over a regular shirt, it's not as tidy-looking as I had hoped. I have a very curvy hourglass figure so I was surprised it fit so well over my hips and bust at my current size.

I had bought one of the older adult vests and those were pretty small and fitted. This new vest however, fits great!

I'm pretty thick, my husband and I share the vest! We're the same size! Nice material. I'm new to this whole thing, i dunno if i'll get any badges compare to the girls

This vest is so comfortable to wear and looks amazing! So much better then i had hoped thankfully.
